Get crafty this Easter at the Hyde End Craft Show

Virtually every kind of craft will be represented, including knitwear, ceramics, jewellery, textiles, art and sculpture, and the food hall and café will be selling scrumptious gourmet and farm food from homemade chutneys to cheeses to sausages

For children, there’s free pot-throwing, a make-and-take workshop, and an adventure hunt where they can win their own Easter egg.  And for parents, there are plenty of restful seating areas!

This Easter, the Show will feature a special wood demonstration area, where you can watch unique and talented wood carvers and wood turners at work. Taking inspiration from the diversity of natural materials they create unusual gifts and capture the beauty of this versatile material.

We are delighted to welcome again Saramade who specialises in encapsulation.  Sarah says '  I think of myself as an artist but working in a different medium and as such each paperweight is unique, owing to the nature of the plant material and the arrangements that I design.

Among the other crafters, you can meet the lady jeweller to Queen Elizabeth I, Affabel Partridge - the fully costumed alter ego of jeweller Nicky Wade, who makes reproductions of historical jewellery from Roman times to 20th century Art Deco. She’ll be selling one-off pieces of 16th century-inspired jewellery and 18th-century-style jewelled hair-combs, with prices from just £5.00.
